The Pines started the 2012 season (eventually!) in style by scoring some big numbers & coming out victorious against an always improving GE Healthcare side.

Get the diary out! DRAFT 2012 fixtures are now available to download on the Fixtures/Results page. Still awaiting confirmation for many of the details of games, but this will give you a rough idea of what’s happening when and where.
Please be advised that full membership of Rhiwbina Pines CC will cost each player £40 this season. The club has kept the price the same as last season. All regular players, or players hoping to play regularly are advised to pay membership fees to John Davies (treasurer) as soon as possible. RPCC’s main expenditure is pitch fees which are collected in May.
If you have not paid membership for the year, then the club operates a ‘pay and play’ policy of £5 per game.
In other news…we will be using pink balls in all Willow competitions this season! (they’re not cheap either…)
Pre-season nets will take place on the following dates and times at the National Cricket Centre, SWALEC Stadium:
Tuesday 27th March – 8:30-9:30pm
Tuesday 3rd April – 8:00-9:00pm
Tuesday 10th April – 8:00-9:00pm
Tuesday 17th April – 8:00-9:00pm
Cost will be £3-5 per player for each session, depending on numbers (payable on the night).
First match of the season will be:
Tuesday 24th April (6pm) v Barry CC (Friendly) at Barry Island
